Support to Start-up Girls

Start-up Girls was a two-day programme for young girls who wanted to start their business. This programme was led by Inspiring Girls Organization at Kabul. The core aim of Startup Girls was to promote business ideas of young girls by mentoring and supporting them financially and technically. The participants were from different provinces such as Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Jawozjan, and Bamyan, and got together to compete for four prizes to start their business. They were divided into 11 groups and they all received professional guidance and advice from expert mentors on how to develop their business plans and launch their businesses. The groups developed and pitched their business plans to a panel of judges. It is an honour that Afghan Knowledge Solutions (ASK) was one of the optional sponsors and partners of this inspiring programme at Kabul.
